    I have found some rust here and there. But nothing that scares me. The worse is the passenger rear door.


    There is a small rust spot in the floor and a couple small spots here and there.. As i said... Its nothing I can't handle.

    So last night I got my first panel in. I cut out the area where the drain holes were on the driver side. It was pretty rusty. I reproduced the panel and got it welded in.
    The slag on the right was factory. A guy at my work commented on that and said i did a Sh.t job. So i got onto him about not knowing how to do metal fab and how he owns a POS mustang that he paid way too much cash for : P


    Also.. last weekend i found a cool inventive way to get the underside of the car. It is so light that I lift and lean the car over with one hand using the door hinge as a handle. I then rest the opposing side's door handle onto a jack stand. : P

    you sandblasted the shell i'm guessing? Either way must of took a bit of time! Good stuff mate, love your builds

    I used chemical stripper, paint stripping disks, and coal slag blasting to strip all of the car down to bare.
