Here is the newest member of my car collection,
75 Mazda 808 New Zealand assembled, in completely original condition,
the original lady owner had it for 34 years and did a great job of looking after it for me
not the best pic's but you get the idea

Mazda 808 the new addition to the family

I got in to bleeding the brakes last night and it all went very well with no weeping from anywhere, so i think they are in very good shape,
and i've replaced the retread tires (circa 1982 i think) with some nice Federal's from a good friend of mine, the original spare is still in the boot!

After that i thought i'd have a little poke around and took the air filter cover off to find this

i think it was last replaced on it's first service

This has to be the cleanest, most original and rust free Mazda 808 in NZ. So mint it's hard to believe it is nearly 40 years old!

A true "one old lady owner from new" Mazda. Awesome car mate!

Mazda 808 the new addition to the family

Thanks guys, the plan is to keep it as is and enjoy it, will be doing all the usual fluid's and filters as well as steering and suspension to maintain the condition
but that's about all that needs to be done, the engine is in perfect condition with no smoke or rattles, gearbox and clutch are good and body is total rust free
from what i can see, the only thing i would like to replace at the mo is a front head light that has a small stone chip that has created a little hole but thats about it for now.
here is the rx4 if you haven't seen it
