    Another new guy

Hey I finally decided to join this site. I've always been into vintage Japanese cars and especially ae86's. I just bought my first one a few months ago and have been struggling to keep it running HAH! I have little mechanical experience with actually working on cars but I'm learning! I have already bought a TOM's racing wheel for it and SSR Mk2 are coming soon

    Here's the 86. its an sr5 ops:

Don't be fooled its not as clean as it looks...

    I plan on getting

    SSR MKii in 13x8.5 -13/13x8 -13
Shortened strut coilovers w/8k and 6k swift springs

Those are my main objectives right now haha.

Oh and I have a TOMS steering wheel! I've always wanted one so it was the first purchase haha.

If I keep this one, I may do a carbed 4ag with solex/mikuni sidedrafts. but we'll see...

Welcome to JNC. That interior looks really clean so you're already miles ahead of most ae86 owners .

haha yes this is true. I don't know what to do though. I'm only 19, don't have much experience, and the the thought of fixing all that rust is quite a daunting task to me. I just love vintage cars too much and especially 86's too much to give up though.
