    * Budoy's '79 Sprinter/Trueno TE62 Project *

    Good day JNC!

    I've bought this car few years ago from a nearby province. Even though it's not in a good state (lots of hidden rust), i still feel happy and lucky to be able to get it. I used it once in a while for several months then left it parked out side our house. Few months ago i decided to make the car stable and road worthy again. I still have lots of essential parts to look for, so i don't want to restore the body and interior yet. As for now, I'm just rebuilding the chassis, engine bay, door posts, and other portions needed to make the car stable.

    It's a slow project, but it's fun! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

    Here's how it looked when i got it few years back:

    Looking good! Liking the pic of it parked next to the 2 Corona's.

    I really like that front end. We didn't get anything like that here in the US. Very nice project!

    @Gene: thanks sir. the TE62 was parked (and unmoved) at that same spot for several months.hahaha
    @OkieRA29: thanks sir. this was also not sold locally here. this was a japan import, was originally a right-hand drive.

    thanks sir 02Anders! its a fun and challenging project.

    i was able to source a new old stock front bumper, but sad to say it was not stored properly so i need to have it re-chromed. hope to find a rear bumper too.

    i also got a brand new tail light. also looking for its left side tail light partner. :lol:
