Why super secret bumper treatment? Share with the community and let it grow!

Good looking car, do you have engine bay shots?

Love the white lettering on the tires gives it a "race" look.

I swapped it myself, here are some basic details, I will answer any specific questions that anyone has, the hardest part was the wiring

    - I used a JDM vvti engine.....these have no immobilzer, if you can't source a JDM one, better stay with an older 2jzge
    - I had to join a Japanese auction website and imported a JDM ECU as the ecu I got with my engine was a North American one (bastards at engine place....but I was a newbie when this process started and didn't know it was wrong ecu)
    - wiring diagrams for JDM 2jzge vvti are only in Thai, located here: http://gallery2.plebeians.net/v/cars/su ... -i_1_.jpg/
had to study these for awhile, and look up all abbreviations etc. to make sure what was what
    - engine mounts from excessive will work (x7 jz mounts) as the block from any m series engine is the same
    - I used ones for a jz mk3 swap that I got off of ebay before I knew of the excessive mounts, and had to buy two sets because the mounts weren't symmetrical, then I cut and welded them at an angle to sit the engine 2" farther back. With the excessive mounts you can avoid all that
    ...to be continued

Rad is a universal Mishimoto one with the inlet(top) on the drivers side and outlet(bottom) on passenger

Everyone knows JDM spec bumpers are impossible to get.....so I just looked at what was available, old american car bumpers from the 60s that had the shapes I was looking for. I just cut and shortened them and welded the brackets.....easy.

I used a w58 from an mk2, and with the engine as far back in the bay as I could get it (valve cover like 1/2" from firewall)...the trans bolted up using stock trans cross member, and shifter in stock hole. Lucky.

Luckily, the JDM 2jz uses a return line on the fuel rail, so I just ran new braided fuel line to an aeromotive stealth fuel cell w pump inside and mounted that in the trunk after taking out the old tank. I didn't want to deal with keeping the non baffled old tank at least a 1/4" full, or redoing the stock tanks sending unit with new lines for high psi EFI....too much hassel.
Xerd/Mazzurri header that was custom fit because the collector was interfering with the idler arm so I cut and rewelded it so it angles closer to the engine/trans.

T3 camber plates and weld-on coilovers, .....eibach circle track race springs in the rear (350lbs was the lowest stiffnes they came in). Camaro AGX short stroke in the rear and MR2 short stroke in the front shortened struts.

Added a clutch pedal from an is300....gas pedal from an MR2, and had to find an extra long throttle cable used in some ae86s in order to reach the JDM throttle linkage as its on the passenger side....
Did an AC delete....powersteering is hooked up.....6 componeant speaker and 2 amps with sub and kenwood iphone deck...sounds nice
Thats all I can think of for now....like I said, any specific questions you have I can try and answer with more details.....thanks for all the positive comments.

Another good guy to ask about this swap is Lloyd...aka Zombie Cressida...although he got a vvti from a friend and was able to get around immobilizer because he also got the steering column transponder as well to make it run....
Like I said before...interms of ease, the earlier 2jz is much easier wiring swap....although the vvti is nice and torquy !!
