204 thousand ks on engine :shock:
Ive recently sent the s110 to have rust patches, patched welded, primed and painted, bought some black on chrome rims (racing spec) "even though its sitting with a stock standard L-18e under the hood". I also scored some super low Cobra springs for the front and lows for the rear. Now all i need is to finish my savings for a s15 black top SR20det, new struts and to update the brake system to withhold the power
This 1uz-fe four cam 32 engine with auto trans was what i was going to drop under the hood first which was going to be a hell lot of fun behind the wheels and a hell of a project with a hell of a lot of money.... but i decided an Sr20det just had to be.
Its going to be a while before i start to finish the BIG project but i thought it was worth sharing for you all to see what i get upto in New Zealand!
Before paint job, They say rusts lighter than carbon fibre! its is when you can sink 1-2 fingers in the rust patches i had on the datsun

^^This last picture i had my clutch pedal fixed, the whole thing snapped and was almost touching my brake pedal but still managed to hold on as i drove it everyday! then shortly after i decided to look under the hood and found oil in my radiator...
^^ old photo since then ive taken the engine apart, patch welded the head in 5 different places due to corrosion, changed the head gasket, flushed my oil and radiator, replaced the air filter, pcv valve, manifold gasket the list goes on.. plus a really really decent clean of the engine bay haha
This is all ive got for ya! but ill definitely post up flicks of the rebuild, ill be stripping everything! when i have the money and it will definitely be a prized possession!
