what do you think this is?

i was stripping paint from the filler pannel that goes between the rear bumper and body and found what looks to be wax pencil writting, what do you think? i inverted the colors to try to see a differance. if any one would like to try to enhance these feel free.

They might be notes or similar scribbles from the factory workers putting your car together...looks similar to Kanji?

    ...Wow, that's blurry.

The only thing that was obvious was the よ at the end, which is used as a reinforcing sort of suffix, or would be.

After staring for a few minutes, 化 becomes an evident candiate for the second character, which could be ogous to an -ion suffix in English (it would be the last character in mechanization, personalization, etc., generally means transform or somehow change).

Sloppy handwriting, many years, and my relatively untrained eye hamper me from making a decision on the first few scribbles, but they almost look like katakana ミー, which admittedly I can't figure the meaning of...

first one looks like kanji, the second looks like hiragana. That's about the extent of my knowledge.

It's pretty hard to make out. In the first picture, the middle characters kind of look like 安 and 変, which mean safety and changes, respectively.
The second one looks kind of like マー?しよ or maybe ミー?, which looks like instructions of some kind maybe. Maybe someone else can make out the rest?

...reminds me of a story I read about TVR, the small British sports car maker in Blackpool (since gone bust).

Supposedly the playful workforce was not beyond scribbling messages in magic marker on the insides of panels, doors, etc to their counterparts further down the assembly line.

This was one of the practices that the new owner, Nicholas Smolensky tried to stamp out when he took over, because apparently a lot of TVR owners do their own DIY and it was deemed unprofessional for them to remove a door card to see something like "GAZZA IS A FAT C#NT" scribbled on the inside

That stuff isn't unheard of. Mopar restorers have often pulled apart stuff to find things written all over, insults, messages, etc. One guy reupholstered a seat in his car to find a brand new, folded pair of Levi's jeans were put into the seat in 1968. He sold them on ebay for something like $60.
