    Celica prices

I'm considering a new project. One car of interest to me is a 1977 Celica GT hatch. I'm curious what a ball park selling price would be for one in reliable condition but cosmetically a project car (in North America)

...Whatever you're willing to pay and they're willing to take? There will be a wide range of pricing depending on a lot of factors. $500? $1000? Guesses coming from a devoted 73 coupe owner. Consider shipping/transportation to you as well. Big money there!

Running car in decent condition, 1500$ and it just goes up from there depending on how clean it is. I bought mine as a 25 year old wreck for 500$ I also got a parts car in the deal as well.

    Re: Celica prices

I paid $1900 for mine. bone stock. This is one of the higher figures I've heard about, but I looked for about 4 years until I found one that wasn't a pile of shit and all rusted out. Mine has very minimal rust, runs great, and very little body damage. To me, I was mentally prepared to spend up to $2500 long before I came across this particular vehicle. I wanted one and the price wasn't all that important.

All depends though! These are definitely the type of cars that you can find sitting in a field or someone's yard and pay almost nothing for it. it all depends on your resourcefulness and what you are willing to spend!

A few months ago I saw one in Sacramento CA. It was a 74, has no engine, trans, or door cards but was perfect otherwise. sold for $500 before I could get it.

I paid 700 for my 76 LB with no carpet, missing interior pieces and a damaged fuel tank. All depends on who is selling and in what condition you want it in.
