if there's enough interest and someone has an original to use, i know where repros can be made.

i'm really interested in having more reproductions made due to the rarity and cost of the originals. these seats fit my miata project perfectly in terms of design and dimensions, and i don't really want to put an original TRD seat in the car when someone with a period toyota can put it to better use.

if anyone is interested in loaning a seat to have a mold created, please contact me. i have a friend who does good fiberglass work. he doesn't work fast but the quality is definitely worth it. i recently sent him my JDM x81 Mark II hardtop roof spoiler to copy and it came back to me in perfect condition.

if you're unwilling to "loan" a seat for reproduction purposes but you're willing to sell outright like kitsune, i'd be willing to invest some money with other parties interested in having a reproduction made to buy the original, as long as the other investors could agree on selling the seat for a 100% roi or one person is willing to buy out the others should they intend to keep it.

Do you plan to reproduce the inserts?

not immediately. that's something i'll have to figure out after i have the shell in-hand. and if there are other options for laying up the shells i'd be glad to check into them as well.
