    An Old Lady

    i dunno if you'd like to see this lady. the story of her can be compiled in three chapters, but i will only write part two of the chapter; the bodywork.

    this shell was initially sent for sandblasting. while nothing covered it up, she was left few months before a decision to send it back for restoration. there you can see many areas with holes while at the same time thinning takes place..

    rebuilding shells and replacing sheet metals were conducted by hands. in another words they are handcrafted using hammer and chisels aka panel beating traditional ways. here we rarely to see english wheels, sophisticated tools to assist human power. i'm here to share the hard way to safe an old lady.

    beside rust here and there, this lady is also handicap. she lost her liftback door and few other metal parts. all of these need to be crafted from scratch...

    operation started on the left ass. to come out to this stage, many thing bla bla bla... (tricky to write... see picture)

    Wow that's serious skills. It started out looking like this would be another abandoned project, until things started looking up. You have my attention.

    Looks like the work of that dude in Thailand that does all those vw splitty rust repairs.
