Welcome to the forum!! I have been looking at your RX2 on ausrotary.....
Beautiful example mate, very clean.
The dish on your wheels is awesome!! 8) Makes me reconsider running the 13 x 4.5s that I have for mine.
Best colour for an RX2 by far
Awesome looking series 1 mate. :tu:
Thanks for the kind words. I have been on ausrotary for a while and like to jump onto JNC everynow and again to see what's new. Thought it was time to share for those who aren't on AR!
The wheels did come up a treat and I can't stop looking at the dish too! I do love the look of stockies with dress rims and centre caps but I've always loved the BBS RS wheels and couldn't resist when I came across a set!
Wow thats SOOOO NICE I'm glad you went with a classic wheel instead of large chrome ones. Looks amazing!!!
Yeah my aim was for big dish and nothing more than 16" diameter. I still wanted the car to be at a decent height and as well as finding something different for these old cars, whilst keeping the styling somewhat 'period'. Next step is coilovers up front and get the front down another inch and get rid of the fend-wheel gap!
Also not too many old mazdas getting around with such flush fitment either
Wow, nice!! Wheel fitment is an art, well done with your choice of rolling stock.
I have been under the car countless time measuring and re-measuring to make sure it was going to sit right.
The only thing left to get it perfect IMO is to get a coilover set up for the front and drop it another inch or so.
Took it out on the weekend and got some shots in the sun - got plenty of :tu: for the wheels where ever I went!
haven't had a chance to take it out lately but took advantage of some good weather and got some shots too
have a factory interior but have just scored a set of recaro lx out of a proton satria gti that i'll throw in to change the look a little. also look into coilovers for the front end as well in the coming months!
I'm really digging this car as a sedan, I usually see coupes online more often. Mazda really had a way with proportions in those days...everything they made looks just right, regardless of configuration. Of course it helps that yours is super nice...I love the stance, the wheels, the colour...perfect. 8)
