    Interesting wheels

    I saw these today while at the exhaust shop. They were on a Celica parked out back for some exhaust work. What are they?

    I believe they are OEM Starion wheels?

    After looking at the Hollander book, yes they are OEM '84-85 Starion wheels. :tu:

    Only pic I could find of them on a Starion.

    Cool! It looks like the little scoop things are meant for cooling the disks. Very interesting and purpose built rims.

    We affectionately refer to those as "cowbell" wheels. Not that common but not impossible to find.

    dont forget in europe they can be found on several Lotus (exige?) and some Ferraris

    I dont think theyre Mitsubishi exclusive :wink:

    or better said iam sure Italy had them first
