    I got another one. Damn if these things aren't crack. 84 Starion LE. Having a random electrical issue, but I'll be able to figure it out eventually. Already replaced the airdam. Repainting, some 16s, couple other things in the works.

    Chassis had 203K/mi on it(swapped to the digital speedo below). LOVE it.

    Thanks. It wasn't always as clean as it is now. The guy I originally bought it off of didn't take very good care of it, and the woman he bought it off of went thru engines like kleenex.

    I was originally going to pick it up in St Louis, but as my train came into STL, I got a call that the engine blew. I had a guy local that picked it up to see what the issue was, and he found glitter mud in the pan, and could move the #2 rod alot. The guy was kind enough to give me one of his engines and get it going for me about 10 hours before I picked it up. Here's just a sample of what he had to fix:

    Engine was rewired to BYPASS the fuseable links
    Power steering pump was blocked off w/ JB weld
    BOV vac line routed into the valve cover
    eBay turbo(still need to replace)
    No inspection plate
    Engine NOT bolted down

    See why my sig says, "saved from certain death." I'm still having a few issues, like trying to find where the ISC is supposed to plug into. The plug for it is gone and I can't find any wires(pertaining to this item) that aren't connected to anything.

    But we're getting there. Spring's gonna be FUN.

    there is a charcoal starion a few hours away from me with teh wheels n all. I beleive it has factory lsd as it has abs as well. It's been sitting for 10 years and the paint is shot, and I dont like getting cars that ahve sat outside for that long as mice have usually ruined the interior. One of these days I will find a decent flatty to build.


    Nice car though. Sounds like it has some ghetto crap done to it.

    She runs and she's fixed! I drove her to work today! WHEEEEE!

    - The MAFt that came w/ the car was for a 2G(<_<). They had to change some of the wiring for it to work. They confirmed all the voltages and readings.
    - Idle is 13.6 on the wideband, 11.8 @ WOT. Don't remember what MID was. The T3/T4 is boosting @ 6 PSI.
    - The idle is a bit rough @ times but doesn't die. If it starts to bog I tap the gas and it'll go back to idling @ about 1250 to 1500 RPM. I'm getting some blue smoke from the exhaust that I'm sure is from the eBay turbo that's on it. I'm also burning some oil, but I'm sure that's from the rear main leak.
    - VELNAS is wonky. Thinks I'm getting 2 MPG. :/

    Other than that, the car pulls pretty good for only 6 PSI. The w/g is supposed to be an 8 PSI setup, but I'm fine that it's running a little low for now. Last thing I need to do is blow something else out.

    But damn to I miss power steering lol.

    There is literally ZERO information about this system out there it seems! Was a two year only option and not every car got it I guess.

    Off topic...you swapped to 16's? Looking to sell the factory alloys?
