    mountain made AN600 build

hey everyone ive been staring at all these great build threads over time and decided since me and my brother are rebuilding a honda i may as well start my own.
Here is my 1970 AN600 we found literally in the weeds on a lonely road about 20 minutes from my house.
After trailering it home we finally had our gem.

my buddy mike tryin to figure out where to start ha

getting it down to the bare bones

getting the motor a little cleaner

put my 15x8 diamond rims next to it to get a good laugh... lets get weird

Good work so far! What wheels were on it when you got it? They look a bit like miniature early Mustang rims.

Haha ya they do kinda don't they, their actually some old pos-a-traction wheels that I think may have been available around the same time the car was in the 70's.

ive done a little digging and the rims do seem to be somewhat desireable, i personally really like them. so i wrapped them in some fresh yokohamas after a sandplast and shine ha

so we started stripping her down. not too much rust which we were pretty happy about. not too bad of shape for a car that sat in the weeds for 20 years ha

the underdash is pretty much a mess ha

we are stripping the rough material that is all up and down the firewall and engine bay to make fore a cleaner look

    after primer

Yes the mag wheels are highly desireable. But I thought you would have removed every single part before primer... I don't like the way you primered the wiper motor and brake lines and some other parts in the engine bay... :td:

We have a new wiper motor and at the time were havin a little trouble getting it off so painting on it a little didn't matter to us too much, its off as of now actuly, as for the brake lines same thing, gettin all new hard lines and that good stuff.

I have to ask... what are the legalities involved in grabbing an abandoned car like that?
