    New 79 SR5 liftback

Well I counted my cards to soon and the Celica project didn't go through so I had to find me another Toyo so here she is.

1979 Corolla SR5 liftback in great condition.

Project will include paint, suspension, interiors and engine modification so stay tuned.

Here some pics bringing her home yesterday.

Now shes in her new home. ;D

Never dealt with a 79 corolla so ill be asking questions on lowering the car, wheel fitment to see if I can push some 15x9's in the rear and 15x8 in front both 0 offset, also where can I find spoilers, fender flares and suspension components.

Its good to have the 2 cressida door mirrors. :tu:

Lowering blocks for the rear leaf springs and cut coils or ae86 shortened struts for the front.

Wheel size should be fine maybe a 15x7 front?

Flares and spoilers will have to be modded and fitted by you.

Compress the bumper shocks and tuck.

Where would I get the blocks from and what spoilers and fender flares can I modify to fit the 79 liftback.

I have my own fender roller so you think I should be able to fit a 15x9 0 offset in the back and 15x8 front?

    Thanks for your reply's.

Beautiful car, I love the color, and those baby Supra wheels look immaculate! Will you be repainting it the same color?

I kind of dig it with the "diving board" look, the big bumpers seem to suit these late-'70s Toyotas.

Be careful with all your door and glass weatherstripping and rubber trim. You will have to reuse most of it.

That rear bumper looks as if it may be from a 75-79 TE38 wagon, its gotta go. :td:
