    Interesting wheels for a bike...

Saw this on a bike blog I frequent and now I'm quite curious how it would look if you did it with some Watanabes... 8)

And I thouht I didn't like cragars when they were on mustangs and c10s. I wonder what that bike looks like from the other side. Seems like of you got a narrow enough wheel and found a bearing with the seninner diameter as your axle, you could have the center bore machines out to take a bearing. You'd have to get creative with brakes.

I was thinking machine two wheels down to 2-3" wide (leaving just the lip and spokes) and weld them together so the face is on both sides? Use 4 wheels to make two? Upside is you could use the very high positive offset wheels (usually cheaper).

Now that you mention it, I don't see any brakes on that bike...

Unfortunately, most wheels that style are magnesium. IDK if that can be welded, but I hear they don't mix well with fire and moisture, lol. As far as brakes go, Maybe you could find a small diameter brake drum to bolt to the bolt-circle on the wheel, and rig up some kind of drum brake setup?
