    Mazda2 (Demio) coming to US

Autoblog has just reported that Jim O'Sullivan, President and CEO of Mazda NA has announced the Mazda2 (Demio in Japan, and platform-mate of the Ford Fiesta) will be coming to the US this year.

I'm glad to see this. The gluttony of the oil companies last year hasn't been forgotten. People are aware that gas prices can go stratospheric at any moment, so small cars are suddenly very attractive. I'm all for it. I've always loved small cars. The smaller size and lighter weight makes them a hoot to drive in their own way.

1.5l engine class is the best seller here..
    tested this car..
speed wise its not that much of a difference compare to toyota yaris/vitz and honda jazz/fit..
but the handling is better than the others..it's more fun to drive just like other mazda models...

The Mazda 2 is lighter and sportier to drive like other small cars.

I wouldīnt want to own one, but I bet itīs a very good car:
