  • New Japanese class announced for April 8, 2018 La Jolla Concours D'Elegance car show

Finally a Japanese class for the judged show at La Jolla Concourse in the San Diego area April 8, 2018. They are looking for top quality, non modified (except some period accessories) cars up to and including 1970. they are limited to only 130 cars total all classes on the grass so, the Japanese class will admit maybe 10 or so cars. Its not cheap, but the show is intense and the entrance fee includes two $60 entrance tickets, a fancy party on the cliffs the night before with free food and drinks for registered cars. Also food and drinks the day of the show for registered Concourse car owners and their guest. So far they have registered: Toyota 2000GT, Toyota Sports 800, Datsun 240Z, Mazda Cosmo 110S, Mazda R360. Ive been going to this show for years and its got amazing cars, motorcycles and sponsors supporting it. Anyone that wants to attend can see the outside the fence show for free. The actual Concourse show is on the cliff and costs $50+ to get in. I hope we can get enough of a variety of early Japanese cars to continued the class for years to come. the JCCS has endorsed it and is linking it to their social media announcements. The link has lots of video and pictures.
