What Did You Do This Weekend?

Don’t cha just love it when you manage to get some free time over the weekend to spend with your car? While the JNC workhorse wagon is not exactly slammed like a mamma jamma, it is somewhat lower thanks to RS-R springs. It also now sits on a random set of old school wire-spoke wheels minus the baskets. What did you do this weekend?

HOT! I love it.
This weekend I swapped the discs on one side of my ‘78 Impala, got smacked in the face with a tie-rod end, rode in a just-finished 7MGTE powered ‘77 Celica liftback that couldn’t get traction to save it’s life, and got enough monies to make it to LA and buy a car and get home.

Drove around in the hot Fl heat in my MR2 in an attempt to get the A/C fixed only to have the guy tell me that my car was too low for him to jack up to check the lines. Now I get to repeat that again during the week when his lift clears up.
With everything I’ve gone through with this little two, all I have to say is….God I love this car haha.

Jesse, Rich – sounds like time well spent to me.
Bob – don’t keep us in suspense, what kind of car did you buy?
Nick – I hear ya. Car love knows no bounds.
Rolando – noice, I bet it got more looks than the random assortment of Bentleys that normally pose around Miami!

Finally got my 87 MR2 up and running. I know why Nick loves his car so much haha.

Continued the restoration of 1982 Civic. It’s finally off the road after 25 years of being my daily driver. It will be back – better than ever.

Drove down to Bellingham to get new Yoko S-Drives 215-40-17 on the front of my MR2. Had a local back up into the front of my car – nice stripes on the nose now. Nice tires those S-Drives – match my 235-40-17 on the back…

I swapped out the motor in my 280 to one that isn’t a magic cloud machine..lol. Amazing how much better a 90,000 mile engine runs than a 250,000 one does!

Ryan – please post photos of that event if you have any.
