he west coast has a reputation for being old school heaven, but don't be so quick to count out the east coast either. The
Old School Toyota Club of Bridgeport, Connecticut has been active with nostalgics for long enough that this year was their
eighth annual show.
The name says Toyota, but any marque is welcome, as long as it's vintage. There were plenty of Mazdas, Datsuns, a couple of Dodge-branded Mitsubishis, and even a '69 Camaro and a donked Olds. Another difference between the coasts is that while Cali leans towards JDM tuning, these Tri-State area cars definitely represent the
boricua style, making for some serious drag machines.
Considering the salty winters these cars have lived through, it's incredible that the club could gather over 250 classic Japanese rides for this show. But, we're glad they did.
