Most of us at JNC are what the kids today call “old” and therefore our fashion tastes very rarely converge with those who consider Snapchat a news channel. However, fashion retailer Forever 21 has a new collaboration with Honda that we finally get.
Inspired by Honda’s motocross racing heritage, these tops and jackets feature vintage logos, colors and dirtbikes. Why is this cool? I mean, we understand that Honda bikes are cool, but why do kids find this cool? We have no idea, but you can see the entire collection at the Forever 21 website.

I could be wrong, but something tells me that most of the customers Forever 21 and other such retailers attract won’t be remotely interested in this.
You’d be surprised. I’ve been spotting 20-something girls all over LA decked out in this.
It seems like the models should be at least 21 in order to want to stay Forever 21. Or maybe they want to look older than they are. I love the concept and what the guys have on is great, but.. uhhhh..
80’s nostalgia? I mean, why do young people we rare band shirts like the Rolling Stones yet probably don’t even.listen to them?
It would be cool if some curious kid wondered why Honda was the brand Forever 21 chose of all the brands in the world, then the kid learned about all the cool racing stuff Honda did and became a car enthusiast.
