Here are some more harrowing videos of the tsunami, including an in-car video from a Japanese driver who just happened to be driving along the coast the exact moment the tsunami hits. He remains amazingly calm as his car is tossed around like a bathtub toy. More videos of cars tossed around like Matchboxes below the fold.

    other than the video(s) of the water moving massive objects, I hadn’t really scaled it, till I thought about the power of the waves coming in while standing on the shorlines of the local beaches(so cal) and just how a 1 to 2 foot wave could move a person. Can’t even imagine the violence of the ocean water from a tsunami….

    I am still dumbfounded when I see these videos, and in the back of my head I think Japan is never going to be the same again.

    Repaired yes, but not the same.
