VIDEO: Five generations of Supra together for the first time

Recently, a small gathering of Toyota Supra owners in the UK got to see the new Supra up close and personal. It was the first time all five generations of the Supra had been together under one roof.

The gathering happened after the fifth-gen Supra’s camouflaged appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Owners were invited to a private showing with chief engineer Tetsuya Tada, who also oversaw the creation of the Scion FR-S/Toyota 86.

A total of 84 owners showed up, according to Toyota UK, with the bulk of them being of the fourth-gen A80 chassis. Just eight A70 Supras attended, while an even scarcer count of four A60 Supras filled out the ranks. A single A40 Celica Supra was present, one of just two still registered in the country — which is interesting, considering that UK Supra sales did not begin until the A60 generation.
