R31 Skyline Electronic Spoilers, Activate!

We now go to the next event, synchronized electronic spoiler activation. Here comes the Japanese team, a quartet of Nissan Skyline GTS sports coupes. Good formation, terrific execution. Interesting musical selection, though. Judges give this one an 8.75.

Ah, the excesses of 80s Japanese cars.

I remember my friend buying the GTS-X brand new. He got a Tomei muffler and Hasemi rims. I think it was in the early 90’s. Then the GTS-R came out with the fixed front spoiler……

I really must get mine repaired (one of the motors has a broken shaft)…Although an R31house carbon fibre fixed lip would be cool.

BTW, the HR31s also featured, as options, a cassette tape stacker, electronically adjustable suspension and proximity card entry.

I’d always thought those chin spoilers looked weird, and now I know why, pretty cool! I’ll never look at them the same again!

I got one o dem tings!
My R31 didn’t have one so I retro fitted it for wank value.
Thing is, they actually work. You can feel the difference at 100kph or more.
Standard, they flip down at 80kph and flip back up at 10kph.
