QotW: What’s your JNC New Year’s resolution?

As I write this, I’m packing to make the trek up to the northern reaches of Japan to see my trusty Pajero Mini Turbo, oh and also to see family… I also take time to reflect on 2018 and my JNC plans for the new year — to beef up said Pajero Mini. Plans include a bigger turbo, possible engine overhaul and overfenders. I’d also like to simply take it out on the road more often. What about you, dear readers? What plans are you already cooking up? Want to do something different with your JNC moving forward?

What’s your JNC New Year’s resolution?

The most entertaining comment by next Monday will receive a prize. Scroll down to see the winner of last week’s QotW, “What did you give your JNC this holiday season?

Last week, we asked what you gave your JNC over the holidays. Dillan showered his FC3S with a plethora of goodies from a fuel system overhaul to hand-built coilovers for the coming racing season. Jim Simspson gave not only his JNC a gift, but also gifted himself with a warm, lit garage. Now that’s a gift that keeps on giving!

KiKiIchiBan also has some fuel upgrades and some accessories for the quarter panel in the form of stickers and a new calendar to keep the garage or home properly JNC. Though, this post gets the win for giving the greatest gift of all, the gift of an engine roaring to life. Congrats and hope to hear more about your JNC rowing through the gears in the coming months.

I had a delivery from Kameari Engine Works for a new fuel pump, a couple stickers and the new 2019 calendar. I plan to start the car for the first time over the holidays too.

Omedetou! Your comment has earned you a set of decals from the JNC Shop.

To bring any sign of life to my ’67 Datsun Roadster. The way I’m going though, there are more signs of life on the moon.

My resolution: Get a grip on my runaway collecting habit when it comes to JNC Tomica diescast. It’s draining my wallet every single time.

I’m going to try to restrain myself from buying any more wheels on Yahoo Auctions Japan (as much as it hurts me) and put that time an energy into getting my AW11 MR2 fired up and back on the road so I can actually enjoy driving it again!

A very safe and happy new year to you all.

For this year, I’m going all out to finish my degree. This way, I would be able to help out in the house and save up. Nothing beats having a very happy and proud family.

The car would be a bonus for me and the fam.

My resolution is to take my 1989 Mitsubishi Starion out more often. I am the original owner, and she has always treated me right, and I get a lot of comments when Im driving it, or showing it at a car show. I wish everyone a safe, and great driving year!

I resolve to continue to keep restoring my 1999 Toyota Tacoma regular cab 5-speed. I look forward to the day 5-years from now when it’s a JNC hopefully it will be in mint condition then
