ART CORNER: Here’s some classic Mazdas you can build out of paper

Carmakers have been coming up with creative ways to keep us occupied during the time of corona. The latest is Mazda’s recent release of papercraft cars marking its 100th anniversary. Specifically, they are the white and red Mazda R360 Coupé and ND Roadster used to commemorate a whole slate of 100th Anniversary Edition cars, but Mazda also has several more paper classics on hand.

We mentioned Mazda’s papercraft museum back in 2016 when they added the Cosmo Sport. Since then they’ve added many more classics, including the Luce Rotary Coupé, Familia, and R360. Of course, there’s also the lineup of Mazda’s then-current cars, including the 2, 3, 6, CX-3, CX-5, and ND MX-5. You can also find separate 100th Anniversary edition versions of the R360 and Roadster. Enjoy this time-honored Japanese tradition, and try to avoid any cuts.

That’s actually super cool. Wish I was over there so I could pick some of those up!
