Bring a Trailer is on a roll this week. This is the cleanest 610 build we’ve ever seen, swapped with a modern KA24DE from a 240SX and amenities like projector beam headlights. In truth, we wanted to profile Aaron’s car for a while now, but just haven’t had the resources to go to Oregon and make it happen. I am not a big fan of Datsuns, particularly 70’s Datsuns. I’m really a Toyota nut at heart, but… That thing is gorgeous! Some of the other 610’s I’ve seen on the web are pretty ugly, mainly cause of the huge bumpers. But the clean style of this one is just awesome. I’m glad he didn’t decide to go with some loud paint scheme with foot wide fender flares and tires stretched tighter than grandma’s panties at thanksgiving! Clean and tidy was the way to go here! And I give him big props for the engine swap! I know the KA24 is unloved and overshadowed by it’s higher reving 2 liter brother, but in to me it seems like the stronger and less finicky choice for your ride. And I know of a few tuners that are seeing some big numbers with the KA24!
not a fan of the blue headlights, but other than that, this looks fantastic!
I also noticed that after the comments by myself and a few other gents on Bring A Trailer about the lack of respect for old J-tin, that the comments about classic japanese cars are a little bit nicer!

Does anyone know what the paint colour code is for this car? Really like the colour, is it Datsun? If so does anyone know what model it came out on?
