I can’t see why this is less popular, in fact, I had wished my dad got a TE37 SR5 in 1974 over the TE27 one I have now.
True hardtop design, triple gauges, smoother flares (no exposed screws) cool little hood vents, more aggressive grille, wider tires, integrated 5 mph bumpers, better radio, integrated air conditioner instead of the one hung under the dash.
