Each time I looked at this Cressida I remember my 83 Super Saloon Crown I used to own in Kuwait!!!
I think this was the best looking Cressida. The MX83 successor was too bland, but the rounded look was the thing in the early 90’s (’89 actually), e.g. Mazda 929.

Agreed. The styling of the MX83 is everything good about ’80s boxy styling while the less tasteful aspects that sometimes accompany a box are absent.
I meant the styling of the MX73. Darn fat-fingering!
Agreed. I think more people are starting to appreciate the X73 for it’s crisp ’80s lines.
