A Porsche 911 Inspired by a Mitsubishi Truck

Mitsubishi Plymouth Arrow Truck Porsche 911

Don’t worry, you haven’t mistakenly stumbled onto German Nostalgic Car. We just thought it was cool that someone built a Porsche 911 inspired by what is one of the all-time great decal packages.

The Mitsubishi Forte was your run-of-the-mill Japanese mini truck, on par with the Datsun 620 or Toyota Hilux. It certainly was no fashion slouch in Japan, but when it crossed the Pacific as the Dodge D-50 and Plymouth Arrow Truck, Chrysler gave it some seriously snazzy duds.

It even had red wheels to match the crazy sunset gradient pattern, so we can understand why it would serve as inspiration for the owner’s 911 build. Sadly, however, the Porsche-Plymouth pair has since been separated as the seriously mint Arrow Truck was unceremoniously sold off soon after the Porsche was completed. It may be too late to proffer a kidney, but the truck is still worth a look. It’s probably the cleanest example you’ll ever see.

All it needs is a 2.6 turbo out of starion.

I would give a kidney for one of these. (The pickup).

I clicked on that German Nostalgic Car fully expecting something strange or funny. Instead you found someone who copied your logo but with a BBS rim the Black Eagle and the End of Speed Limit symbol.

As a Porsche owner I need one of those stickers!

Lol, yeah. No hate though, we thought it was pretty funny!

Would there be any issues if I had some of them made up in a small run? I’ve got no intention to profit off them but I’m sure I’m not the only one who would love to have one on their car and I’d like to make them available for a limited time.

The German Nostalgic Car stickers? We have no problem, but you might want to contact whoever made them to see if they’re cool widdit.

Curious we’ve a number of crossover owners here then. Me included (ex-356, 924, & 911S). Neko.
